Job summary

Heythrop Park, part of the Warner Hotels Group, invites applications for a Front Office Team Member on a maternity cover, part-time basis. The role focuses on guest information, check-in/out, and maximising sales opportunities while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service at reception and in holiday sales.

You will be part of a supportive team, ensuring a seamless guest journey, and will uphold health, safety, and compliance standards across the Front Office. Hospitality experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Understanding of front-of-house operations, including check-in/out processes, guest journey touchpoints, and service standards.
• Awareness of hotel products, packages, and onsite experiences to confidently inform and upsell to guests.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance procedures relevant to reception, guest areas, and emergency response.
• Familiarity with reservation systems, CRM platforms, and hotel management software.
• Experience working in a guest-facing role within hospitality, retail, leisure, or a similar customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high front office standards and resolve day-to-day issues with guidance from management.
• Maintain a visible guest-facing presence to ensure guests feel welcomed and informed.
• Uphold health, safety, hygiene, and compliance standards in the Front Office.
• Support cost-efficient operations while preserving a high level of guest experience.
• Escalate urgent matters to senior leaders to maintain smooth operations.
• Collaborate with teams to support events and resolve issues during guest journeys.
