Job summary

Four Squared is seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Coordinator to join our team in rural South Shropshire. This part-time role is 16 hours per week, fully office-based with flexibility on pattern (2 full days or 4 half days).

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and financial reporting, using Xero, and provide forecasting and cash flow updates to support leadership decisions. Travel to the office is required as the role is not remote.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping, finance administration or accounts management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Xero.
• Experience with payroll, invoicing, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Confident communicating with suppliers, customers, accountants and management.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and bookkeeping using Xero.
• Process payroll and VAT information; ensure compliance.
• Manage bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
• Provide regular financial updates and forecasts.
• Support stock and purchasing planning.
