Job summary

Queen Alexandra College in Birmingham is seeking a part-time Sight Village Events Co-Ordinator to support the planning, development, and delivery of national Sight Village events. The role covers admin, health and safety, and customer relationship activities relating to promotion, sponsorship, exhibitors and visitors.

The post requires a Level or equivalent education, event planning experience, driving license, and strong IT and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a marketing, communications, events, and relationship management environment.
  • Must hold a full, clean driving license.
  • Experience in planning and delivering events.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the development, planning, and delivery of annual Sight Village events, ensuring effective organisation, administration, and customer relationship management.
  • Support in exploring new income generation opportunities, including sponsorships, partnerships, and funding sources.
  • Attend and support all Sight Village events, including overnight travel as needed.
  • Produce and distribute high-quality digital and printed marketing materials for Sight Village events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaigns, advertising, and social media presence.
