Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations at Chartwells, contracted to 25 hours per week.

You will lead kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional food experiences while upholding health and safety standards and a strong customer focus. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for service and a drive to progress within a large catering organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
