Zest Scientific in Manchester is seeking a part-time Echocardiographer to independently perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) in line with BSE standards. The role supports a preventive care approach with access to advanced diagnostic tools and a collaborative team.

Candidates must hold BSE Level 2 accreditation and have GLS experience. 2 days per week salaried or locum options are available, with opportunities for professional development and training.

Formación

• Must hold BSE Level 2 Accreditation to report independently.
• Experience in performing and interpreting a wide range of echocardiographic studies.
• Ability to perform Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct transthoracic echocardiographic examinations to BSE standards.
• Independently interpret and report findings for timely delivery to clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate findings into health assessments.
• Participate in regular cardiology MDT meetings and escalate where needed.
• Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and peer review.
• Support training of junior staff and students as appropriate.
