Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join the Echocardiography team. You will perform and report a wide range of TTE studies, developing expertise with support from senior staff.

The role supports education and workforce development and offers opportunities to work toward Level 2 BSE accreditation in Adult TTE. You will contribute to patient care with teaching responsibilities for students, registrars and junior doctors, and help advance service

Qualifications

• Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and interpret results to inform diagnosis.
• Produce structured clinical reports of echocardiographic findings.
• Apply knowledge of echocardiography techniques and standards to complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret complex and interdependent data acquired during TTE.
• Produce a clinical report of echocardiographic findings after image interpretation.
• Perform diagnostic echocardiography across complex settings, including valve assessment.
• Interpret and report on imaging data with senior review as required.
• Perform TTE in accordance with BSE guidelines and departmental standards.
• Review and develop documentation standards with the Lead Echo Physiologist.
• Archive data in line with Trust policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and reflect clinical developments.
• Identify areas for service improvement and contribute ideas.
