Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a band 7 echocardiographer to join the Cardio-Respiratory department. The post involves independently performing and reporting adult echocardiograms to BSE standards, with potential use of bubble/contrast echo and valve surveillance clinics.

The role offers rotation through Northwich Victoria site, joining a wider team, and requires working 08:00–20:00 across 7 days, including weekends and evenings. Part-time applicants are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Independent practitioner performing adult Echocardiograms to BSE standards.
• Experience with bubble/contrast echo and valve surveillance clinics desirable.
• Able to rotate through Northwich Victoria site as part of the Cardio-Respiratory team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiography and report results.
• Interpret investigations and escalate urgent findings for medical attention.
• Support development of Physiologist-led clinics.
• Work 08:00–20:00, 7 days a week; weekend/evening shifts; part-time applicants welcome.
