Job summary

Co-op Group in Preston is seeking Customer Team Members to join our busy local store. You will work in a friendly team, with a pay rate of £13.04 per hour for part-time (16 hours per week) and regular overtime, plus full training to get you started.

You’ll help stock shelves, assist customers, and operate tills while promoting Co-op Membership and community support. Flexible weekend shifts and early morning starts are required.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, helping customers find what they need.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate tills and hands-on shop floor duties to support daily operations.
• Maintain store stock by checking prices and stock dates for accuracy.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
