Job summary

Co-op Group in the UK is hiring Customer Team Members to deliver friendly, helpful service in your local Co‑op store. You’ll join a small, supportive team with varied shifts from 6am openings to late evenings, including at least one weekend shift, and tasks on the shop floor, tills, and post office or bakery areas.

Full training is provided. The role is permanent, part-time (16 hours a week with overtime), with pay at £13.04 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience not essential.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Hands-on on the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations to create a great shopping experience.
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure the store is safe and compliant with prices, dates and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
