Job summary

Co-op is looking for Customer Team Members to join our local store network. You’ll deliver friendly, helpful service, stock shelves, and assist customers on tills or in the post office, bakery or online order pickups where available.

You’ll work varied shifts across mornings, afternoons and evenings, including at least one weekend day, with full training provided and a permanent part-time contract. A genuine passion for helping people is essential.

Qualifications

• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and irregular hours.
• Interest in retail and helping customers in a busy store.
• Experience not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Support daily store operations and keep shelves stocked and prices up to date.
• Assist with post office, bakery or online orders where available.
• Promote Co‑op membership and engage with the community.
• Ensure store safety, housekeeping and compliance with store policies.
