Job summary

Propel Consult in Oakham is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join their friendly team. This permanent, part-time role offers 16-24 hours per week, with 100% office-based work and free on-site parking.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, emails and live chat, delivering excellent service while maintaining records. Training will be in Winchester (3–5 days) with travel/accommodation covered, and there is potential for career development within a growing regulated business.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately within structured processes.
• Good IT skills and experience carrying out administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls with professional and empathetic support.
• Responding to customer enquiries via email and live chat in a timely and accurate manner.
• Completing administrative tasks within agreed service levels and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation in line with procedures.
• Ensuring all work complies with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and internal processes.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver positive outcomes and identify improvements.
