Job summary

The Co-operative Bank plc in Trowbridge is seeking a part-time Customer Service Assistant for a 12-month maternity cover. You’ll help a diverse range of customers in a friendly, efficient way, handle cash accurately and support daily admin in a local branch.

Hours vary by week (Week 1: Mon–Fri 08:45–14:45; Week 2: Mon–Fri 08:45–14:45 plus Sat 08:45–12:30 with a day off in lieu). The role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people and delivering great service within our community-focused bank.

Qualifications

• Current experience in a customer focused role (e.g. retail, hospitality or call centre).
• Experience of interacting directly with customers and providing a great service on a daily basis.
• Good attention to detail with experience of processing customer details or data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with cash transactions carefully and accurately.
• Taking telephone calls for the broader Customer Service area.
• Finding solutions for customers and staying on top of admin.
