Job summary

John Lewis Partnership's Waitrose division is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Swindon for part-time hours. You will start in-store and drive to customers, delivering fresh Waitrose produce with a focus on friendly, reliable service.

Role involves loading the van, performing safety checks, helping customers, and supporting the shop when needed. DBS checks may be required, and flexible/part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good time management.
• Ability to lift crates and move cages.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare your van for deliveries and ensure orders are grouped for efficient delivery.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and health and safety.
• Be an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Help customers with their shopping and build rapport with them.
• Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
