Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Ely is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring Waitrose produce and partner-led service to customers’ doors. You’ll start in store and head out on the road, delivering orders with care and a friendly, professional approach.

Key tasks include checking routes, loading and preparing the van, performing vehicle safety checks, and acting as an ambassador for the brand. You’ll also assist in-store when needed and support the shop team.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with physical requirements (lifting, moving).
• Able to work independently with self-motivation and adaptability.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Checking your delivery routes for the day.
• Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring orders are together for direct customer delivery.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks and maintaining road compliance.
• Being an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with customer service as a priority.
• Helping customers with their shopping and supporting the wider shop team when required.
