Job summary

Hobbycraft Bedford is seeking a Customer Advisor to support the Store Management Team and deliver a welcoming, customer-focused experience. You will help with store operations, brand values and craft knowledge to assist customers.

This role suits someone with retail experience, strong communication, and a passion for craft. You will handle tills, stock replenishment, Click and Collect, and contribute to a friendly, inclusive team. Hours are 12 per week with a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour.

• Retail experience is desirable.
• Confident communicator delivering outstanding customer service.

• Ability to work at pace and with accuracy.

• Brand ambassador who promotes the Hobbycraft brand and embraces change.
• Build strong team relationships, treating everyone with respect per policy.
• Deliver outstanding customer service with excellent communication and product knowledge.
• Adapt to change in a positive, proactive way.
• Comply with company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain shop floor standards, replenish stock, keep displays tidy.
• Handle till operations and cash transactions.
• Assist with the Click and Collect process.
• Help minimize stock loss through vigilant tagging.
• Support running Workshops.
