Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the RRIC Community Practitioner team at Marlow Community Hospital. This Band 6 post is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with flexible working patterns to cover 8am–8pm, weekends where required, and a pro rata salary of £39,959–£48,117 per annum.

Qualifications

• Registered Allied Health Professional with HCPC.
• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• CPD and post-graduate training evidenced.
• Experience in community settings with OT involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, assessment and case management for patients.
• Plan care programmes to promote independence and avoid hospital admission.
• Allocate workloads within the RRIC team and coordinate with MDTs.
• Support early discharge and end-of-life care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
