Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Urgent Community Response Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist for a 23-hour-per-week role in Ringwood. The post focuses on rapid in-home assessment and short-term intervention to prevent hospital admissions.

Qualifications

• Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP on HCPC register).
• BSc (Hons)/Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Full UK drivers' licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2-hour urgent home assessments and short-term interventions in patients' own homes.
• Collaborate with 111, 999, community teams, care homes and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Liaise with other localities to ensure cross-cover and timely care.
