Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an administrator for the Community Care Services Administration Team in the Community Rehab Team (CRT) office. The post is 24.3 hours per week, Monday to Friday, mainly 1000–1400, based at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

The role supports clinical referrals to the CRT and acts as the first point of contact for the Fife-wide SPOA. A PVG check and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Educated to Higher level, or hold an SVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and familiarity with databases.
• Strong telephone and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional public holiday cover on a rotational basis.
• May be required to work across sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Community Rehabilitation Teams.
• Process clinical referrals to the CRT and act as the first point of contact for the Fife-wide SPOA.
• Handle electronic referral systems and maintain databases with a high level of accuracy.
• Support the administration team in delivering high-quality customer service and effective teamwork.
