Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is recruiting a Community Health Care Support Worker for the South Ayrshire Treatment and Recovery Service (START) at Ailsa Hospital. The position is fixed-term for 24 months and part-time at 22.5 hours per week, scheduled as 9-5 over three days (days negotiable).

A full UK driving licence is essential. You will perform delegated clinical duties, monitor health status, maintain records, and support recovery and wellbeing in a compassionate, safe environment.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 7 e.g. SVQ 3 in healthcare or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out delegated clinical and care duties, monitoring and reporting changes in patients' physical health and wellbeing, and contributing to recovery, independence, and positive health outcomes.
