Job summary

The Square in Bristol is seeking a part-time Commis Chef to join our stylish venue on Berkeley Square. You’ll work 24 hours across 3–4 shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a busy, open kitchen with opportunities to grow your skills.

We’re a welcoming, forward‑thinking team that values fresh ingredients, teamwork and great food. Paid at £12.71/hr, with monthly pay, and strong progression opportunities within the Quarter Group.

Qualifications

• Some experience in fresh food kitchens, prepping and cooking on service.
• A friendly personality and a team-player attitude.
• A calm, positive approach - even when the pass is on fire.
• Ambition, a sense of humour, and a genuine love for food

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook for our seasonal fine dining menu.
• Assist with events and à la carte service prep and cooking.
• Use fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Keep things tight and tidy during service.
• Learn from experienced chefs and build your skills.
