Thomas Franks Ltd. in Bristol is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our team part-time and permanently. You will work 21.5 hours per week across a Monday-to-Friday schedule, preparing breakfast and lunch with fresh ingredients and upholding brand standards.

The role offers exposure to bespoke menus, teamwork in a busy dining environment for around 300 colleagues daily, and opportunities for training and development. Applicants must have good English skills and a customer-focused approach.

Commis Chef Bristol Contract: Part Time, Permanent Salary: 15863.3 Hours: 21.5 per week

A fantastic B&I location, part of a large group, one of the world's leading communications services companies with this location based in Bristol. Catering for about 300 people daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and vending options along with lots of hospitality. This location operates Monday to Friday and benefits from good transport links.

We are looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bristol Monday - Wednesday 7:00 -15:00.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge / competencies

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.

• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
