Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative based at Radius Hillhead, Cullybackey. The role focuses on delivering high-quality cleaning services across offices, meeting rooms and amenities, while maintaining health, safety and HACCP standards.

The position is part-time (5.5 hours/week, 2 days: Tuesday and Friday) with pro rata annual leave, pension, and wellbeing support. Prior cleaning experience is beneficial, but not essential, and good customer service is important.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of housekeeping/cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications.
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements.
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories.
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility.
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean.
• Follow company procedures and regulations; participate in Health and Safety policies; report dangers to Line Manager.
