Job summary

Mount Charles is recruiting for a Cleaning Operative at our Radius, Banbridge site. This temporary, 14-hour-per-week position offers a morning/afternoon split on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with pro rata annual leave and access to employee wellbeing initiatives.

You will provide cleaning services to offices, labs and amenity areas, stock control and routine checks on equipment, while following safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with client specifications.
• Responding promptly to customer requirements in a professional and courteous manner.
• Carrying out cleaning across offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide.
• Ensuring stocks are replenished and equipment checked; reporting defects to the Line Manager.
• Adhering to company procedures, health and safety policy, HACCP regulations where necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy presentation of all offices and amenity areas.
