Job summary

Active Assistance in Rochdale is seeking a compassionate Female Children’s Support Worker to help a 12-year-old girl with complex health needs both at home and in the community. The role is part-time with a rolling rota and requires a full UK driving licence and being over 25 to drive the mobility van.

You'll support daily activities, hydrotherapy, outings, and cooking sessions, with a consistent schedule Thursday/Friday mornings and alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Female applicants only (due to genuine occupational requirements)
• Full UK driving licence (you must be over 25 to drive the client’s vehicle)
• Someone who’s compassionate, reliable , and enjoys working with children
• A positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supporting client in family home and in the community
• Assisting with activities such as hydrotherapy, outings, and cooking sessions
• Helping with personal care and following clinical care routines
• Driving the client’s mobility van (must hold a full UK licence and be 25+)
