Job summary

National Care Group Rochford is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist young adults with complex needs at home and in the community. You will build relationships, help plan daily tasks, assist with personal care and medication, and join engaging days out to support independence.

Shifts include early, late, sleep-in and alternate weekends. A full UK driving licence is required; the role offers training, development, and an inclusive, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to plan daily tasks and assist with personal care.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication.
• Plan and participate in exciting days out with individuals.
• Help individuals become more independent wherever possible.
