Barchester Healthcare Limited is seeking a passionate Chef to work as a Bank Chef in our care homes, delivering hotel/restaurant standards with flexible, part-time hours. You will work with Head Chef to create nutritious, flavoursome menus tailored to residents’ needs and preferences.

Formación

• Personable and warm approach with residents’ wellbeing in mind.
• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
• Experience leading and inspiring a team.
• Good understanding of nutrition.
• Experience with fresh seasonal food.
• Ability to create a warm, welcoming environment in the home.
• Strong HACCP knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Create a warm, efficient and fun environment in the kitchen.
• Work within budget.
• Complete regular audits and manage stock control.
• Assist in leading and motivating the team.
