Barchester Healthcare Limited is seeking a passionate Bank Chef to support our homes with fresh, seasonal dishes and a warm, resident-focused kitchen. The role offers flexible part-time hours and a chance to work at a provider known for quality hospitality in care settings.

You’ll assist in menu creation, maintain high standards, lead a small kitchen team, and help deliver nutritious meals to residents while maintaining cost controls and audits.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality dishes.
• Create a warm, efficient and fun kitchen environment.
• Work within budget and control costs.
• Complete regular audits and stock management.
• Lead and motivate a kitchen team.
