Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a passionate, qualified chef for a casual, part-time Bank Chef role across our homes. You will work with fresh seasonal ingredients, support the Head Chef in its absence, and deliver hotel/restaurant standards with a warm, resident-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
• Experience leading and inspiring a team.
• Good understanding of nutrition.
• Experience with fresh seasonal food.
• Solid understanding of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality and wholesome dishes.
• Create a warm, efficient and fun environment.
• Work within budget.
• Complete regular audits.
• Manage stock control.
• Assist in leading and motivating a team.
