MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. is seeking CCTV Control Room Operators for one of the UK's largest control rooms, monitoring over 2,500 cameras in the West Midlands.

The role involves night shifts (Thu–Sat, 20:00–06:00) with a pay rate of £13.23 per hour, patrolling cameras and coordinating with emergency services. Ideal candidates will hold a CCTV Licence, have a strong communication and IT skill set, and be able to work independently while maintaining professional liaison with Police and local

Qualificações

• CCTV Licence is essential.
• Full 5-year checkable work/education history is required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out patrols of the cameras across the West Midlands.
• Aide the emergency services in live situations.
• Assist Police by searching and saving footage for investigations.
• Handle incidents for local council Out of Hours and liaise with social services.
• Communicate with local hosts and shops by radio.
• Take emergency calls from the public via help points in the control room.
• Provide public updates via social media.
• Process email requests for footage and information.
• Coordinate with Highways England on traffic management.
• Be responsible for alarm calls across the West Midlands.

MAN Commercial Protection are looking for CCTV Control Room Operators in one of the biggest control rooms in the UK, covering over 2500 cameras around the West Midlands.

Shift pattern: Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Shift timings: 20:00-06:00

Payrate: £13.23ph

Coverage focuses mainly on West Midlands Transport, but also focusing on towns and city centres around the West Midlands. You will patrol cameras and be on the alert for all types of crimes. You will be dealing with emergency services on a daily basis aiding in live incidents, so a strong level of communication is required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out patrols of the cameras throughout the West Midlands.
• Aiding the emergency services in live situations.
• Aiding Police by searching and saving footage for vital information for their investigations.
• Incident handler for local council Out of Hours - Dealing with social services and other organisations to aid members of the public.
• Communicate with local town hosts and shops by radio.
• Take emergency calls from the public via emergency help points in the control room.
• Updating the public via social media of any updates in the West Midlands.
• Respond to email requests for footage and information.
• Working in conjunction with Highways England dealing with traffic management.
• Be responsible for alarm calls across the West Midlands.
