Job summary

Bupa Mindplace Newcastle in Gateshead is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to deliver high-quality CBT face-to-face, with options for phone or video sessions. This permanent role offers part-time hours (minimum 2 days per week) with Saturday morning sessions and weekday shifts 08:00–22:00.

You will conduct assessments, form pathways, and work within Bupa's care framework. The role requires BABCP accreditation, 2+ years of high-intensity CBT experience, strong IT and communication

Qualifications

• BABCP-accredited CBT high-intensity qualification required.
• Full BABCP accreditation essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience delivering high-intensity CBT.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with strong clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to guide care pathways.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone or video sessions per client preference.
• Adhere to Bupa policies and collaborate with the therapy team.
• Attend regular supervision and support the wider clinical team.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and organisational policies.
• Engage in group psychoeducation and remote wellbeing activities.
