Job summary

Mindplace Newcastle, part of Bupa, is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for face-to-face work in Gateshead. This permanent, part-time role requires a minimum of two days per week, with shifts including early, late, and some Saturdays.

You will deliver CBT, conduct assessments, and use multiple delivery models while collaborating with the therapy team. The role offers competitive salary plus Bupa benefits.

Qualifications

• Holds BABCP-accredited CBT/High Intensity diploma.
• Certified with BABCP and able to exercise clinical governance.
• Minimum 2 years’ high-intensity CBT experience with adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with strong outcomes.
• Deliver assessments and formulations to guide care pathways.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone or video sessions.
• Follow case management processes with the Clinical Leads and therapy team.
• Attend clinical supervision regularly to support practice.
• Support client wellbeing and signpost/referral when needed.
