Job summary

Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group in Poole is seeking a Store Person to support the Catering Department with stock receipt, storage, and distribution of food, beverages and catering consumables. You will check deliveries, store in ambient, chilled and frozen areas, and maintain accurate stock records.

The role includes FIFO rotation, regular stock counts, issuing to outlets, reporting shortages, and upholding high food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse, stock control, or catering environment.
• Experience receiving, storing and issuing stock.
• Experience following Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries.
• Store stock in ambient, chilled and frozen areas.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct stock counts.
• Replenish supplies and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Issue stock to catering outlets and departments.
• Report shortages or discrepancies and support audits.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
