Job summary

Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Technical Officer to support the Cardio-Respiratory & Vascular Diagnostic service. The role covers 32.5 hours per week across Outpatient and Inpatient settings, with rotation to balance workloads.

The successful applicant will assist with ECG recording and ambulatory diagnostics, train other staff in ECG techniques, and help maintain an efficient diagnostic service within the CRV department.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Maths or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification / experience in a healthcare role.
• Basic IT skills and numeric literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Cardio-Respiratory & Vascular Diagnostic service for inpatients and outpatients.
• Participate in ECG and ambulatory diagnostics service and training staff in ECG recording.
• Support workload distribution across Outpatient and Inpatient settings.
