Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust in east London is seeking an enthusiastic associate Respiratory Physiologist with an interest in cardio-pulmonary exercise testing. You will support the lung function service across the Trust, including CPET and spirometry, at the CDC and cross-site clinics.

The role involves 12-hour shifts across 7 days and cross-site cover. Training and development opportunities are available to enhance cardiorespiratory diagnostics and patient care.

Qualifications

• BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent BSc in Exercise Sciences / Physiology.
• Good clinical practice certificate.
• Recognised ARTP courses.
• Registered with, or working towards registration with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) and/or registration with the HCPC.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic respiratory tests for community-based patients.
• Support the delivery of an integrated and patient-centered service.
• Contribute to development and implementation of innovative diagnostic pathways with the wider respiratory team.
