A part-time Band 5 Staff Nurse position on the Cardiac Day Case Unit at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is available. The unit handles elective and interhospital patients preparing for and recovering from procedures.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 21:00pm, with support from nursing and medical teams, and training provided. You will perform clinical skills such as observations, cannulation and venepuncture, maintain records, and participate in ongoing professional

Qualificações

• Experience in cardiology or day-case settings preferred.
• Strong communication with healthcare teams and patients.
• Commitment to high-quality nursing care and patient safety.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for procedures and recover them safely.
• Maintain accurate written/electronic records and handovers.
• Support catheter lab activities with appropriate training.
