Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (1st Level) with current NMC registration.
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• Teaching & Assessing qualification as per NMC guidelines.
• Degree or working towards.
• Leadership course.
• ALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Support registrar and consultant; sedation and airway management during procedures.
• Monitor patient and ensure safe handover to ward.
• Cover on-call evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota.
• Rotate to day case unit and take charge as required.
