Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cardiology Cath Lab Nurse to join the team in Blackpool. The post is a permanent, full-time position with band 5 designation and potential progression to band 6 after training.

The role includes rotating to the day case unit and taking charge as required. You will support registrars and consultants, manage sedation and airway care, and ensure patient safety and a smooth handover.

Formación

• Registered nurse with enthusiasm for cardiology procedures and ability to work under pressure.
• Band 5 post with progression to Band 6 after training.
• Willingness to rotate to the day case unit and take charge when required.

Responsabilidades

• Sedation and airway management for patients undergoing procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safe handover to the returning ward.
• Cover on-call duties evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis; undertake other job duties as required.
