Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Lancashire is seeking an enthusiastic staff nurse to join the cardiology catheter labs.

The post starts at Band 5 with progression to Band 6 after training; you will rotate to the day case unit, take charge as needed, assist with sedation and airway management during procedures, and ensure safe handover to the ward.

You will cover on-call shifts evenings, weekends and bank holidays within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Experience in catheter lab or cardiology is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapid rota changes.

Responsabilités

• Provide sedation and airway management during cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safe handover to the ward.
• Rotate to the day case unit and take charge as required.
• Support the registrar and consultant in a multidisciplinary team.
