Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a friendly Before & After School Club Staff Member to join a lovely village primary school near Loughborough.

The role offers consistent part-time hours with morning and after-school shifts, from 7:30am to 8:45am and 3:15pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will supervise sessions, lead engaging activities, support with snacks, and ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for while building strong links with staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in any capacity.
• Experience within a school, nursery, childcare, sports, youth work or similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
• A positive, enthusiastic and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children during the before-school and after-school sessions.
• Providing a range of fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children with play, games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities.
• Ensuring children are safe, happy, and well cared for at all times.
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children to interact positively with their peers.
• Supporting with snack and refreshment provision during the afterschool club.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Communicating effectively with school staff and parents/carers where appropriate.
• Following the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies.
