Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative for our Peterborough branch. You will welcome customers in person, on the phone, and online, offering trusted help with everyday banking and digital tools.

This permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) requires you to understand customer needs, handle transactions, and guide customers to suitable products, while maintaining security and fairness. Training is provided to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or a passion for helping customers.
• Comfort with using digital banking tools and services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them, helping manage their money with confidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
