Job summary

Crown Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team for up to 16 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary, medical indemnity and NHS Pension, with excellent training/development opportunities in a supportive team.

You will work autonomously to deliver high-quality medical care, manage the practice population, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• NMC registered and practising as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Advanced Practitioner qualification at degree level or equivalent.
• Experience working autonomously in an advanced role.
• Audit, research and QOF understanding.
• Experience with prescribing in a primary care setting.
• Familiarity with EMIS Web, Anima and AccuRx tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous medical services to the practice population with high clinical standards.
• Deliver consultations by telephone or face-to-face and manage investigations.
• Prescribe medications appropriately and advise on referrals when needed.
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team and support practice management.
• Uphold GMS contract requirements and contribute to quality improvement.
