Job summary

Torquay-based Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) role offering flexible hours with both full-time or part-time consideration within a supportive primary care team.

The ANP will work autonomously across a broad range of presentations, provide telephone and face-to-face consultations, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and Clinical Pharmacists to ensure safe, patient-centred care and ongoing service improvement.

Qualifications

• NMC registered and qualified as ANP/ACP.
• Independent Prescriber status or qualification.
• Experience in primary or urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and minor illness.
• Prescribe safely within scope of practice.
• Provide telephone and face-to-face consultations.
• Manage long-term conditions and complex presentations as appropriate.
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and the wider MDT.
• Support clinical governance, audits and service improvement.
