The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a part-time General Practice post at Clayton Brook Surgery. The ANP works autonomously across conditions, assesses and manages patients, and acts as the main clinical contact for a care home with a weekly ward round.

Independent prescribing is desirable, not essential, and the role involves collaboration with Moss Side Medical Centre staff in Leyland. 16–24 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification or Advanced Clinical Practice qualification.
• Experience in General Practice or primary care with autonomous decision-making.

Aufgaben

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients across General Practice conditions autonomously.
• Act as main clinical contact for a care home with weekly ward round.
• Take histories, examine patients and form differential diagnoses with plans.
• Prescribe within competence and scope of practice.
• Liaise with care home staff, GPs, families and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development.
