Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Paramedic / Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) for a 30hrs per week full-time-equivalent role in the United Kingdom. The post involves delivering high-quality care, predominantly through home visits to housebound patients, and autonomous management of acute conditions in the community and surgery.

The role requires significant experience with advanced clinical assessment, safe decision-making, and collaboration with GPs and the broader team.

Qualifications

• Qualified as Paramedic or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP).
• Experience in managing minor illness and undifferentiated acute presentations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with minor illness.
• Triage and treat patients at home or in surgery and refer to other team members as needed.
• Coordinate with GPs and multidisciplinary team for acute and complex needs.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous health records and documentation.
• Provide home visits and community-based assessment and care.
• Engage in CPD and contribute to best practice through knowledge sharing.
