Job summary

HC-One is seeking an Assistant Chef for a part-time role (18 hours per week). The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and have a solid understanding of HACCP.

You will attend to Residents with warmth, support the First Chef, and help manage stock and budgeting while following recipes precisely. You will work in a caring setting across HC-One’s Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist Care homes, prioritising Resident wellbeing and kindness in every task.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) expected.

Responsibilities

• Cook and serve nutritious, healthy meals for Residents.
• Provide support to First Chef and cover in their absence.
• Manage kitchen stock and assist with budget planning.
