Job summary

Stirling Ellis in Weybridge is seeking a part-time Accounts Manager to cover 4 days per week on-site. The role reports to the Finance Director and manages payables and receivables, helping with month-end routines and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounts experience and be proactive with strong IT skills. AAT qualification is desirable. On-site parking and a pension are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years accounting experience
• Good understanding of both accounts payable and receivable
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with month-end routines including accruals and pre-payments; AAT desirable
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of current accounting systems

Responsibilities

• Allocate customer receipts to the accounting system
• Process supplier invoices for prompt payments
• Reconcile outgoing payments across supplier accounts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Check and pay employee expense claims
• Support month-end and year-end processes incl statutory accounting and monthly reporting
• Respond to queries from internal and external departments
• Assist with audit preparation, data entry, document management and reporting
