Job summary

Location: East Suffolk Council, Melton (IP12 1RT) or Lowestoft (NR33 0EQ).

Salary: £54,495 – £58,809 per annum. Hours: 37 hours per week. Employment: Permanent.

We are looking for a Parking Services Manager to join our Parking Services team to manage and lead the Council’s Parking team and function, ensuring effective delivery of the full range of statutory services for which the Council is responsible for in relation to Civil parking Enforcement (CPE) and Off-Street Parking Places.

What you will need:

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of running a local authority car parking operation, implementing and operating a Civil Parking Enforcement programme with detailed knowledge of Car Parking legislation and enforcement.

You will have extensive management skills, including demonstratable experience of change management, performance management and coaching and mentoring team members. Confidence in negotiation, the ability to foster robust working relationships, and strong communication skills are all essential for this position.
