Job summary

Parking is seeking a Parking Patrol Attendant to join the team at Luton Parkway Station. You will patrol car parks to keep areas safe, clean and secure for customers and rail passengers.

Responsibilities include inspecting payment machines, issuing penalties as per Bye Laws, assisting customers, and reporting faults for maintenance. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you must enjoy working outdoors with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with and relate to a wide variety of people.
• Full UK driving license (manual).

Responsibilities

• Check each Parking Payment Machine to ensure it is working and clean.
• Issue Penalty Notices in accordance with Bye Laws.
• Assist customers and rail passengers with enquiries.
• Inspect the site and its condition including shrubbery, signage and lines/signs; report faults to LAP.
• Ensure machines are fully functioning and notify relevant personnel to arrange maintenance.
