Job summary

APCOA PARKING UK is seeking a Parking Patrol Attendant in Luton to ensure safe, clean, and secure car parks for customers.

Role involves patrolling at Luton Parkway Station, checking machines, assisting rail passengers, and performing site upkeep. A full UK driving licence is required and the position is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Check each Parking Payment Machine for proper operation and cleanliness.
• Issue Penalty Notices in accordance with Bye Laws.
• Assist customers and rail passengers with enquiries.
• Perform general site checks of shrubbery, signage, and lines; report faults.
• Inspect machines on patrol to ensure full functionality.
• Notify maintenance staff of faults requiring repairs.
• Litter picking and placing litter in bins.
• Daily cleaning of pay machines and changing bin bags at all sites.

The Role

Parking Patrol Attendant - £26,436.80 - Luton Parkway Station - 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday

If you answered yes, then we may have the role for you:

An opening has arisen for a Parking Patrol Attendant working within the team at Luton Parkway Station. Parking Patrol Attendants are essential to the smooth running of our car parks to provide safe, clean and secure conditions for all customers.

What you'll do:

• You will be checking each Parking Payment Machine to ensure in working order and clean
• You will issue Penalty Notices in accordance with Bye Laws
• You will be expected to assist customers & rail passengers with their enquiries as required.
• You will be responsible for performing a general check of the site and its condition including shrubbery, signage and lines/signs & report faults / concerns to LAP
• On each working patrol, in line with the agreed schedule, inspect the machine to ensure that: they are fully functioning
• You will ensure faults are notified to relevant personnel in order to arrange maintenance related repairs
• You will perform litter picking & place any litter collected on a patrol in the bins provided
• You will be in charge of cleaning of pay machines all sites - Daily Changing of bin bags at all sites
