Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with people face to face and over the phone.
• UK valid Manual Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• To patrol the public highway, Council owned streets, and off-street car parks in shift patterns between 07:00 and 23:59, 7 days a week.
• Issuing penalty charge notices using handheld equipment and providing affidavits/hearings as required.
• Checking parking machines on site and using a digital camera to record contraventions.
• To drive a council vehicle when required including a moped after training.
• To report criminal activity, suspected stolen or abandoned vehicles observed during patrols and assist in parking service duties as needed.
